Green vs blue underwater dock lights

Green is the fishing color. Blue is the luxury color. Here is how to choose — or blend both.

Green

Around 520nm, green sits in the sweet spot for coastal water clarity and plankton response. It throws the widest usable halo and is our most-requested color for anyone who fishes.

Blue

Blue reads cooler and more architectural against a seawall, which is why designers love it. It still attracts life, just less aggressively than green in stained water.

Blending

Many of our waterfront homes run green at the dock edge for fishing and blue along the seawall for presentation. RGBW fixtures let you switch scenes on demand.
