Snook fishing around dock lights
Fish the shadow line, not the light. The ambush happens at the edge.
Where they sit
Snook hold in the dark just outside the halo, facing into current, and dart into the light to eat. Cast up-current and let your bait drift naturally through the edge.
Tackle and timing
Light leader, small profile baits, and the outgoing tide. Moving water plus a green light is the most reliable combination on a Southwest Florida canal.
